New ISA packages from FundsNetwork February 12
FundsNetwork, Fidelity’s “online investment supermarket”, has launched seven new ISA packages that it hopes will make choosing ISA’s easier for both advisers and investors.
Its new online “ISA zone” will allow advisers to scroll through a list of ISA’s in order to best determine which scenario is most suited to a particular investor.
Each FundsNetwork ISA package is categorised into core or themed funds.
“We are seeing anecdotal evidence already at FundsNetwork indicating that investors are branching out into areas other than the traditional UK sectors for their ISA’s this year, which is why we have designed a range of packages containing something for everyone,” said Rob Fisher, head of sales and marketing for FundsNetwork to FT Advisor.
ISA’s (Individual Savings Accounts) are available in two forms: the “maxi” and the “mini”.
Up to £3,000 in cash or £4,000 worth of stocks and shares can be invested in a mini ISA, while the maxi ISA can hold £7,000 in stocks and shares or a combination of stocks and shares and cash.
Neither capital gains tax nor income tax need be paid on the returns received from ISA’s, with it also not being necessary to declare ISA’s on tax returns forms.
