Nicer ISA helps charitable organisations February 13
A one per cent discount on its initial charge is being offered by Allchurches Investment Management Services (AIMS) to customers investing in its Nicer ISA package.
AIMS habitually bills five per cent as its initial charge, but 0.75 per cent of the fee will be refunded until April 30th, with a further quarter of a per cent being given to one of eight designated charities.
Investors are able to choose which charity to support from the shortlist, which is made up of Barnardos, The British Vascular Association, The Church Housing Trust, The Knowles Tooth Children’s Centre, The National Meningitis Trust, Relate, The Children’s Society and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trusts.
“The Allchurches Nicer ISA builds on the ethical part of our fund range by giving investors the chance to give directly to a charity when they invest in the Nicer ISA,” said Sue Round, investment manager for AIMS, to FT Advisor.
“Over the years the donations add up to a considerable sum demonstrating the benefits of regular saving and investing for all parties involved.”
Last year £10,000 was raised as part of a similar scheme.
If investors would rather not make a charitable donation, the money will go towards “management costs”.
