Analysts list best fund managers for ISA investments

Fund analyst Citywire has drawn up a list of what it regards as the top 100 fund managers that ISA investors should look to target in the new financial year.

According to the research, which was published in the Financial Mail, Old Mutual UK Select Smaller Companies manager Daniel Nickols comes top of the pile, based on performance over the last three years.

JP Morgan and Standard Life managers also feature in the top five, including Georgina Brittain and Mark Davids in joint second, managing JPM UK Smaller Companies.

The performances of more than 550 fund managers were analysed in compiling the table.

Those at the high end of the table appear to be good bets for those looking investors looking to use unspent ISA allowances before April 5th - the start of the new financial year - as well as those waiting for the chance to invest next year’s allowance in coming weeks.
